The most valuable lessons I’ve ever learned have been during the rehearsal process. I have spent extraordinary and eye-opening time in the lab with actors, playwrights and directors including: Al Pacino, Jessica Lange, Michael Shannon, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Kate Burton, Colman Domingo, Martin McDonagh, Dominique Morisseau, Roger Rees, Pam MacKinnon, Rajiv Joseph, Blair Underwood, David Mamet, Doug Wright and Amy Morton. The techniques I’ve learned from these masters inform how I run my rehearsal room and what I look for in an acting company.
Join me and let's work on rehearsal techniques. In our five weeks together we’ll work on text analysis as a means to build your confidence in scene work, monologues, and cold reading.
When: Tuesdays 6:30-9:30: March 26, April 2, 9, 16 and 23.
